Hello! Today is another Beautiful People, and this time it’s the Childhood Edition! I’m doing Meryl again, since she has always been my favorite character, and I know her best!

What are their first childhood memory?

Hmm. Meryl’s first memory is of her and her older brother, Devin, playing in the stream near their village.

What were their best and worst childhood experiences?

Best – Probably all the times that she and Devin played near the woods. She actually had a very boring childhood.

Worst – Her mother drowning. Yes. Dreadful. (Okay, when she got the news that her mother had drowned.)

What was their childhood home like?

Something like this:

What’s something that scared them as child?

The river for a long time after her mother’s death; the kingdom’s officials; wolves; and this one didn’t scare her, but she – er, everyone – finds them annoying: spark crickets. (I made them up and I love them!)

Who did they look up to most?

Devin, hands down!

Favourite and least favourite childhood foods?

She grew up with not much, so she wasn’t super picky. But she liked nuts like (though they’re a rarity where she comes from), and she hates dates. A lot.

If they had their childhood again, would they change anything?

She would probably try to save her mother, and would’ve tried to help out Devin and her mother more then she did.

What kind of child were they? Curious? Wild? Quiet? Devious?

Quiet and curious. Funny and serious. Kind of a contradicting child. 😉

What was their relationship to their parents and siblings like?

She never knew her father; but she really liked her mom as much as a toddler can (which is a lot); and she was best friends with her brother.

What did they want to be when they grew up, and what did they actually become?

Though she always feared them, she wanted to be one of the kingdom’s protectors like her brother wanted to. And, Meryl is still technically in her childhood, and if I told you what she’ll become, that’ll spoil everything. 😛

And there you go, guys! This week’s Beautiful People! Did you like it and hearing more about Meryl (she’s always been my favorite character, since she was my first serious writing character and she’s actually a lot like me)? What were your favorite/lease favorite foods when you were a kid? I’ve always loved soup, and since I was maybe five I’ve hated cheese. Anyways. Comment below!
